ABOUT SOUL GRAZE
Our Philosophy
At Soul Graze, our mission is to create safe supportive environments where individuals and teams of all ages can learn and grow through Equine Assisted Learning (EAL). We believe that horses have a unique ability to help people develop self-awareness, emotional regulation, and relationship skills. Our team of experienced facilitators are dedicated to providing high quality EAL sessions that are tailored to the needs of each client.
Why Horses?
Horses are intelligent, sensitive and strong beings and can evoke strong feelings in clients. Horses can assist in co-regulating our nervous system. Horses live in the moment and can model healthy living, expression of feelings and being non judgemental. Horses can offer feedback in a way that traditional learning environments cannot. The natural environment can contribute positively to our well being.
Licensed Professionals
Our licensed professionals have been carefully selected and rigorously trained with the Equine Psychotherapy Institute, ensuring that you receive the best experience. When you choose to work with us, know that you are consistently choosing quality and excellence. Contact us to learn more.

Safety of both clients and horses is at the core of our ethical strategy. We are constantly working to improve our offerings and expand upon our capabilities. Our customers deserve the highest level of service, and we work tirelessly to maintain standards. Get in touch to learn more.
Horse welfare
We have strict standards when it comes to horse welfare. This is especially true when it comes to care and protection of the physical and mental state of our horses.

Awareness: Awareness of self including thoughts, feelings and sensations. Awareness of self and others including environment. Noticing body language and how to remain present and grounded.
Boundaries: Understanding and becoming aware of your boundaries. Your "yes" and your "no", what feels OK for you and what is not "OK" for you in the moment. Including spacial, touch and verbal. You are in charge of your boundaries.
Thoughts: Learning about your self talk, beliefs and where they come from. How you think and what thoughts you say to yourself (about self and others) impacts how you feel, hold your body and enter relationships.
Feelings: Feelings are information for you about what is happening for you in your situation. There are 4 main feelings - joy, anger, fear and sadness. All feelings are important and for ongoing health and wellness, feelings need to be noticed, tolerated and expressed respectfully.
Relationship: Learning about your self talk, beliefs and where they come from. How you think and what thoughts you say to yourself (about self and others) impacts how you feel, hold your body and enter relationships.
